Playtime provides a time where you can connect with your child, connect with other parents and carers, and connect with God
Each week we will spend time playing with toys, singing songs and dancing together, and enjoying morning tea.
Playtime runs from 9:30 – 11am on Wednesdays during school term. Each week we will spend time playing with toys, singing songs and dancing together, and enjoying morning tea. During music time we would love parents / carers to participate and interact with their children to build language and motor skills, and encourage positive relationships. We have an outdoor playground and large grassy area for use when weather permits.
There is no cost to attend Playtime.
Please bring morning tea for your child, a drink bottle and hat. Once COVID restrictions have relaxed we will also have tea and coffee for the adults (please be careful with hot drinks and leave them on the servery bench) and some plain biscuits.
Please do not bring nuts to the St Barnabas site. This is to protect those with allergies who may have a severe medical reaction to nuts. As some children have allergies to other foods, please do not share your food with anyone else.
Please feel free to take photos of your own children, but before taking photos of other children please ask their parent or guardian first.
We have a COVID19 safety plan and ask that all Playtime attendees please adhere to current COVID restrictions from the NSW government, including checking in via the QR code. If your child is sick please do not come to Playtime until they are better. If someone in your family has been sick please consider staying home too so that others don’t get sick.
We require all children who attend Playtime to be registered, so that we have medical information and emergency contact details for the safety of all who come along. It is possible to fill in an online registration form here before coming along, or you can complete one at your first visit.
Playtime is held in the middle hall at St Barnabas Fairfield, corner of Frederick and Lackey Sts. There is street parking available and ramps to make it easy to bring a pram.
