What’s on for kids and youth?
Kids and youth start in church with the adults before the children head out to Kids Church and Mini Church.
Kids Church
Kids Church is for years K-5 learn about Jesus from the Bible while having lots of fun together with craft, activities and games.
Mini Church
Mini Church is our Creche for toddlers and preschoolers play, sing and hear age appropriate Bible stories in a safe and fun space.
We also have a parents room in both church buildings where you can nurse babies.
Sunday Youth
Years 6-9 hang out on Sunday mornings for Bible study so they can grow deeper with Jesus and each other.
VISITING FOR THE FIRST TIME
When you first arrive at Church there will be people to welcome you, show you around and explain the children's program to you. We'll ask you to complete a form to register your child.
If you'd rather your kids stay with you in church for the whole service they're welcome to as well.
OUR TEACHERS
All our children's teachers and helpers complete regular special Safe Ministry training and Working with Children Checks to ensure that the children are safe and protected.
Susan Duc oversees all our children’s ministry teams. She has studied at Moore Theological College and coordinates the teaching programs and leaders’ training.
Faithfulness in Service
All staff and volunteers who lead in our ministries with children and youth are required to conform to “Faithfulness in Service,” which is a national code for personal behaviour and the practice of pastoral ministry by church workers. Click here to access the document.
