Frequently Asked Questions

What if my English isn’t good?

We have live translation into Vietnamese, Arabic, Assyrian, Chinese, Spanish and other commonly spoken languages where you can follow along in real time on your phone.

Information about how to access the translation is available when you arrive at church.

What should I wear?

Dress however you are comfortable.

How long does church go for?

Church usually runs for a little under 1 and a half hours.

We would love you to join us for morning tea, lunch or dinner, but you are also more than welcome to head off after the service.

Will someone meet me when I arrive?

Yes, there will be friendly people at the door to say hi, help you find a seat and introduce you to the kids program if you have children.

Is church wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have wheelchair accessible toilets and ramps between levels.

We’ll hear Bible readings because God has given us his word and that's how he speaks to us.

We’ll hear a Bible talk so that we can learn about God and how to live for him as people who trust Jesus.

We’ll pray because God cares for us and Jesus has made it possible for us to pray to God.

We’ll sing because God has done amazing things for us through Jesus Christ and it's a great way to remind each other about that.

After church

Each week we have a fantastic morning tea, lunch or dinner. It’s a great time to meet people and encourage each other for the week ahead.

What’s on for kids?

We know that not everyone has kids, but if you do they are more than welcome to stay in church with us or join in the special kids programs just for them.

Each week we have Mini Church creche for children not yet at school, and Kids Church Sunday School for children in Kindy - Year 6.
Teenagers head out to a teens group most weeks and stay in church with everyone other weeks.

We love having babies in church and don’t worry if they make noise!
They are welcome in church with us and there is also a cry room on the side if you’d find that helpful.

What happens when I arrive with kids?

When you arrive, someone will be there to explain what happens at the kids programs. If you’d like your children to join in the kids program you’ll be able to register them on the iPads in the foyer so we have your contact details.

The Jesus Course

At church we talk a lot about Jesus. Christians are people who have decided to trust and follow Jesus. Why would we do that?

The Jesus Course is an opportunity for you to Discover Jesus for the first time, Rediscover Jesus or Grow deeper with Jesus.

We meet over 4 evenings and enjoy 4 meals that help us explore the wonderful message of Jesus.

You can ask any questions you have - nothing is out of bounds!
Or if you’d just like to sit back and listen in, that’s fine too.
